PRODUCT SUMMARY

OpCo Focus: EAL and ETI

A secure online platform with a quick and easy application for our customers to apply for and receive the financial assistance needed to keep the electricity on at their homes, for our customers who potentially qualify for LIHEAP.

EARLY LEARNINGS

Alpha and Beta pilots in Arkansas were a success, learnings tied to customer ease of use and agency review and determination functionality are being incorporated into the commercialized version of the platform.  The Beta pilot had over$490K pledged for customer bills through nearly 1400 approvals of over 3,000 applications. Our pilot agencies are eager to continue to use the platform and are advocates in helping onboard additional agencies as we scale.  Additionally, the Phoenix Platform was leveraged to administer EntergyBillhelp.com, which provided bill assistance to over 23,000 applications in EAL, ETI, and EML.

CURRENT PROGRESS

Currently the platform is operational at seven Arkansas community action agencies, CADC,CSO, ARVAC, CAPCA, MCAEOC, SEACAC, and CDCAA covering over 70% of the EAL service territory, the Summer Cooling season has opened and is ongoing, the response in the first week has been very strong.

Met with the LHC about potential adoption of the platform in Louisiana, it will be handled differently, most likely we will be participating in an RFP before the end of Q3, that would be to prep for future seasons.

Launch the state dashboard for AEO to grant them the ability to review applications at the agency level.

Completed the RASE exception review process identifying items that need to be updated to meet policy, as part of risk assessment process and partnering with IT to facilitate transition for long term support.

NEXT STEPS

Based on feedback from the AEO (Arkansas Energy Office) and our partner agencies, we are currently exploring expansion options to help address a broader customer support need.

Continue to work with agencies and AEO to deliver additional enhancements and features, such as system export for reporting, targeting delivery of these enhancements for the summer cooling season 2023.

Proceeding to commercialization in partnership with Corporate Social Responsibility team, the ICO Commercial Development and Portfolio Management team, and IT Digital Services, targeting End of 2Q23 for establishing project lead.

Developing a version of the application that is baseline application adaption for LA (and future commercialization application down the line), pending agency or state partnership for potential pilot, currently scheduling a demo for the LHC to pursue the partnership.

Working with the AEO for Enhancement of the State Admin Dashboard, for the state users to to have basic reporting, looking to deliver and train the state on this dashboard for use during the summer cooling season 2023

Pursuing integration of new API service features for data that was not previously available, waiting on Cap Gemini IT partners for implementation and readiness
